Circle has unveiled plans to integrate native USDC and its Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) into EDGE Chain, a MOVE poised to expand regulated stablecoin settlement options for decentralized trading platforms. The deployment, expected in the coming weeks, aims to bolster liquidity infrastructure for edgeX's derivatives ecosystem.

Market analysts anticipate that faster settlement across ethereum and Arbitrum-linked infrastructure will enhance capital efficiency for institutional and professional traders operating in decentralized markets. EDGE Chain, a layer-3 blockchain leveraging Arbitrum's security and Ethereum's settlement layer, will facilitate secure cross-chain transfers for traders, developers, and liquidity providers.

The integration underscores Circle's broader strategy to drive cross-chain liquidity growth. Industry participants predict interoperable payments will accelerate liquidity movement across decentralized markets, further solidifying USDC's role as a cornerstone of on-chain finance.
